What is the difference between insulated roof sheeting and roof panels?
Nothing, in practice. Irish roofers say "insulated roof sheeting" or "insulated sheets"; manufacturers say "sandwich panels" or "insulated roof panels". Both mean a steel outer skin, an insulating core and an inner skin made as one piece.
What thickness of insulated roof panel do I need in Ireland?
It depends on whether the building is heated, what is under the roof and the purlin spacing. The U-value tables on each product page show what every thickness achieves; contact us and we will recommend one for your job.
Can I fit solar panels on an insulated roof?
Yes. Delta 5, Kappa 5, Supercoppo and Isogrek H28 are certified BRoof(t3) for external fire, and the Dryclamp system lets PV mount to the rib without drilling the panel.
How long can a panel be?
Panels come off a continuous line, so length is set by transport and handling rather than the product. Tell us the roof and we will advise.
